Job Responsibilities:

  • HVAC System Diagnostics & Repair – Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems

  • Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure peak efficiency and reliability

  • Customer Interaction – Communicate with homeowners to explain system issues, recommend repairs, and answer any questions with professionalism and clarity

  • System Performance Testing – Conduct airflow tests, refrigerant level checks, and other diagnostics to ensure proper system function

  • Service Documentation – Complete detailed work orders, service records, and recommendations for system improvements

  • Emergency Repairs – Provide timely and efficient repair services, including after-hours or weekend availability as needed

  • Parts Replacement – Identify and replace faulty components, ensuring high-quality and lasting repairs

  • Technical Troubleshooting – Utilize industry-standard tools and software to diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions

  • Safety & Compliance – Adhere to OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety policies

  • Service Software – Use Service Titan or similar trade software to manage jobs, track service calls, and update records

Qualifications:

  • Experience – 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills

  • Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of HVAC system components, refrigerants, low-voltage wiring, and control systems

  • Certification – EPA Type II or Universal Certification required; NATE Certification preferred

  • Customer Service Skills – Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to delivering top-tier service

  • Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in attics and crawl spaces

  • Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record required for company vehicle use
